Shouldn't every little 6 year old girl long for a reptile for a pet? Some days I wonder how I got such a brave child. It all started when Tilly and Laila stayed in Bluff with Grandma Rue and Grandpa Karl. They always catch lizards and frogs there. We always tell the girls they have to let them go before we head home. Well, when Grandma Rue is in charge...the rules always change! So Tilly brought home a blue tail she caught...within a few days she and Ben caught 3 more little desert friends near our home! After two trips to Cortez for crickets I told Tilly if we really want to have an awful lizard for a pet it needed to be a vegetarian! So within the next month she earned Frankenstein! It has taken me a while but I am now use to having this creature in my home!
